Historia mojej sukienki - szmaragdowa VINTAGE/ History of my emerald VINTAGE dress

    

    Bohaterka dzisiejszego wpisu, to pamiątka z podróży, historia z lat 80 tych. 

    Lata te w moim kraju to trudny czas, szary i smutny. Nie było tak pięknych i kolorowych ubrań w sklepach jak teraz, nie było takich sklepów jak teraz. Dla dzisiejszej młodzieży to niewyobrażalne, ale ja to dobrze pamiętam - czas dzieciństwa. Nie będę tu nawet wspominać o tym, jak trudno było gdziekolwiek wyjechać i czym był wyjazd zagraniczny nie mówiąc już o wyjeździe do świata poza kraje tzw. socjalistyczne za żelazną kurtynę. Jaka to przepaść z dzijszymi otwartymi granicami i biletami last minute, z promocjami, które mogą Nas zaprowadzić w każdy kraniec świata.

    Sukienka ta jest związana z tym co wtedy było. Moja mama dostała możliwość wyjazdu na kilka dni do RFN (dzisiejsze Niemcy przed  zjednoczeniem z NRD) w roku 1978. Wyjechała na zaproszenie bliskich, którzy zorganizowali całą podróż. Poznała tam życzliwe osoby, niezwykle gościnne. 

    Jedna z kobiet podarowała jej piękną szmaragdową  sukienkę w prezencie . Dla mojej mamy było to coś wyjątkowego. W tamtych czasach sukienki szyło się z materiałów , które udało się kupić. To był i jest dla niej niezwykły prezent. Kobieta ta podarowała jej ta sukienkę bo chciała aby poczuła się w niej wyjątkowo i pięknie pomimo tego jak trudno żyło się wtedy w naszym kraju. Ja jako mała dziewczynka zachwyciłam się tą sukienką od pierwszego ujrzenia. 

    Mama nie mogła się z nią rozstać, zostawiła jako pamiątkę i w końcu podarowała ją mnie a ja poczekałam aż do niej dojrzeję. Teraz, na specjalne okazje mogę się nią nacieszyć. Mam coś, co ma wiele kobiet; strój, który ma duszę. 

    Sukienka jest tak piękna i elegancka .Wiem,że mogę ubrać ja zarówno na wielką galę jak i do restauracji. Gdziekolwiek w niej wyjdę będę czuła się jak prawdziwa gwiazda prosto z nieba.

    Na zdjęciach pokazuje jej piękno i wyjątkowość oraz elegancję i szyk. 

                            

     The heroine of today's entry is a travel souvenir, a story from the 80s.

     These years in my country were difficult, gray and sad. There were no such beautiful and colorful clothes in stores, there were no stores like we are used to in 2020. For today's youth it is unimaginable, but I remember it well - the time of childhood. I will not even mention here how difficult it was to go anywhere and how hard was to go on a trip abroad, let alone going to the world outside the countries of the so-called  "Iron Curtain". What a gap it is with today's open borders and last minute tickets, with promotions that can lead us to every end of the world.

    This dress is related to what was back then. My mother was given the opportunity to travel to West Germany for a few days (today's Germany before unification with the GDR) in 1978. She got there, thanks to the invitation of her relatives who organized the entire trip. There she met extremely hospitable, friendly people.

    One of the women gave her a beautiful emerald dress as a gift. It was something special for my mother. In those days, dresses were made of materials that were available. It was and still is an unusual gift. This woman gave her this dress because she wanted her to feel special and beautiful despite how difficult it was then in our country. As a little girl, I was delighted from the first sight.

    My mother could not part with her, she left it as a souvenir and finally gave it to me after I matured. Now, for special occasions I can enjoy it. I have something many women have or want to have; an outfit that has a soul.

    This dress is so beautiful and elegant, I know that I can wear it both for a big gala and to a restaurant. Wherever I go in it, I will feel like a real star straight from the sky.
